30th July - 2nd August: Hands on History: Tasty Tudor crafts & Summer Storytelling
Hands on History Crafts running 11am – 3pm, drop in at any time during this period to make your craft! Craft activities should take between 20 and 30 minutes to make. Your £3 ticket also includes taking part in our two story telling sessions held at 12pm and 3pm. *Ticket for participation in crafts and storytelling only, entry ticket to museum required.
Hands on History craft: What was a wealthy Tudor diet like compared to a poor one? What food remains were found aboard the Mary Rose? Explore tasty Tudor treats for the rich and poor: Get hands on with history and make a Tudor inspired sweet using icing fondant, dies and even a bit of gold sparkle! Take home a pre-prepared ship's biscuits kid and make your own Mary Rose ships biscuit.
Summer Storytelling: Enjoy two storytelling sessions led by our costumed Tudor's, explore the world of Vlad the Flea and You wouldnt want to sail aboard the Mary Rose! Dont forget to dress the part and take your photo as a Tudor!
