Upcoming Events: Brick By Brick LEGO® Event & The Story of the Mary Rose Galley Talk

Brick By Brick LEGO® Event - Running from Saturday 26th May to Sunday 3rd June 2018, the Mary Rose, in partnership with Bright Bricks, the UK’s only LEGO® certified professional building company, is giving LEGO® enthusiasts the opportunity to recreate Holbein's Portrait of Henry VIII in the form of a four-metre high LEGO® brick mosaic.
Participation costs £3.00, giving you the opportunity to put the bricks on an 8x8 studded LEGO® brick square, which will then be inserted into the giant colourful mosaic. SPECIAL OFFER: Two Tickets for £5.00!

The Story of the Mary Rose Galley Talk - On the evening of Wednesday 30th May 2018, Christopher Dobbs, Head of Interpretation and Maritime Archaeology for the Mary Rose Trust, will be discussing how artefacts from the Mary Rose have led the way in building a picture of Tudor food and cooking. Using experimental archaeology, research conducted from finds aboard the Mary Rose is helping us to understand the workings of a Tudor kitchen by recreating the cooking facilities and meals served on the warship.
Tickets for this evening talk cost £15.00 and include access to the Museum, a drink on arrival and the evening talk.
