Mary Rose Tour Experience with a Ruth Hansom Afternoon Tea in Boathouse 4 Restaurant
New for 2023, the Mary Rose Museum and BaxterStorey have collaborated to provide you with a luxury experience this Mother's Day, including a complimentary prosecco for each Mum!
Your experience will begin at the Mary Rose Museum. Guests will make their way down to the museum where your guide will take you on a guided tour. Discover the largest collection of Tudor objects anywhere in the world, and marvel at Henry VIII’s pride and joy, his beloved Mary Rose. She lay under the sea for 437 years before being raised, treated, and conserved into the awe-inspiring piece of Portsmouth history you see today.
Then make your way down to Boathouse 4 for a delicious afternoon tea, dine and relax in a restaurant with spectacular views over Portsmouth Harbour. Afternoon Tea includes:
· Sandwiches - Coronation Chicken Brioche Roll, Brie & Red Onion Chutney Brioche Roll, Smoked Salmon & Lemon Cream Cheese Sandwich, Egg & Cress Mayonnaise Sandwich, Warm Dockyard Pork Sausage Roll Bite
· Scones- Fruit Scones, Clotted Cream, Strawberry Preserve
· Patisseries - Chocolate & Orange Battenburg, Mini Victoria Sponge, Lemon Posset with Vanilla Shortbread
· Unlimited Tea and Coffee
This experience covers two people for tea, a guided tour and entry into the Mary Rose Museum. Sessions run at Midday. Please allow 3 hours for this experience. Tours will be shared with others booked onto this experience, this will be a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6.
